Patient had prior rhinoplasty resulting in washed out bridge and retraction of tip of nose. This scooped-out appearance is also called a "saddle nose deformity." |

Before : Patient had two prior rhinoplasties. The resulting excessive cartilage removal led to skeletonization of nasal cartilage and "bossa" formation in the tip, with sharp angles and partial extrusion of cartilage. After: Patient uderwent complete tip reconstruction with auricular cartilage and temporalis fascia graft to soften the nose. Appearance is more natural. |

Before: Patient had 3 prior nasal surgeries. The resulting undercorrection and scar tissue have combined to form a "polly beak" deformity.

Before: Patient had rhinoplasty 20 years previously. Patient complained of nasal obstruction. This was due to nasal valve collapse. There is an "inverted V" deformity on front view

Before: Patient had previous rhinoplasty and chin implant in Latin America. She was unhappy with the pinched, unnatural appearance of the middle part of her nose, as well as her unrefined profile.
After: Patient underwent revision rhinoplasty with removal of poorly placed dorsal graft and reconstruction with smooth gortex sheeting. The oversized chin implant was removed. Note improvement in contour of nose on front view and more feminine, softer profile. |
