San Diego cosmetic surgeon Dr. Roy David is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and specializes in plastic surgery exclusively of the Face, Nose, Eyes, Neck, and Scalp.

 

Dr. David is double-board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck

Surgery.  Dr. David is one of a select group of cosmetic surgeons to complete a prestigious Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery under the auspices of the AAFPRS.

As an accredited outpatient surgery facility, La Jolla Center for Facial Plastic Surgery, Inc., is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety and service in outpatient surgery.  Dr. David has served as a nationally certified surgical facility inspector, and the surgical suite is accredited by AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care). The center uses only board certified anesthesiologists and registered nurse anesthetists (cRNA).

San Diego facial plastic surgeon Dr. David utilizes state of the art surgical techniques including endoscopic forehead lift, laser skin resurfacing, and follicular unit hair transplants, which are also time-tested and effective. The goal is to achieve a natural appearing, highly aesthetic result.

 

Raised in Northern California, Dr. Daivd moved with his family to Israel as a teenager. He later served for three years in an elite paratrooper unit where he gained experience as a medic. Following military service, Dr. David returned to California and attended college at the University of California at San Diego, where he was appointed a regents scholar and graduated summa cum laude.

 

Dr. David went on to attend medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, one of our nation's top medical schools. He then completed a five year surgical residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago, which included intensive training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck.

 

During residency at the University of Illinois, Dr. David trained under internationally known leaders in Rhinoplasty and Revison Rhinoplasty surgery, mastering the open "structure" rhinoplasty and closed rhinoplasty approaches.   Following residency, Dr. David was chosen for a fellowship position at the renowned Rousso Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic in Birmingham, where he further refined his skills in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and hair restoration surgery.

 

In addition to his private practice, Dr. David is a Volunteer Clinical Instructor in the University of California, San Diego, Department of Surgery.

Angela C.

Office Manager

Angela began her career in the beauty industry as Christian Dior’s ambassador to the United States, where she was responsible for nationwide training. She then worked in the medical spa industry for over seven years as an esthetician and spa manager before joining our practice. She enjoys supervising our outstanding surgical and spa teams to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.  Angela’s door is always open and she loves meeting with clients and patients, so please share your questions or comments.

 

 

Laura

Patient Care Coordinator

Laura is an experienced esthetician and spa coordinator with years of experience as a plastic surgery patient care coordinator. Laura is truly passionate about what she does, which is supporting patients throughout their transformation and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction every step of the way. Laura is knowledgeable about all of Dr. David's surgical as well as non-invasive procedures, and will meet with you to introduce our practice and answer questions prior to meeting with the doctor.

 

 

Jordan

Front Office Coordinator

Jordan joined our practice as an experienced spa administrator. She is also a student at the Natural Healing Institute of Encinitas and is training to be a Massage Therapist.  She has worked in the Health and Beauty field for over 3 years now and is excited about working in the field of plastic surgery.  She loves getting to know patients and creating a warm environment for patients and co-workers alike.  In her free time, she enjoys dancing, singing and playing with her puppy Bailey.

 

 

Amy

Front Office Coordinator

Amy is excited to join the team at Dr. David’s office.  She recently relocated to San Diego from North Carolina , where she began her career in Plastic Surgery.  She enjoys building relationships with patients and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone that visits the office.  In her free time Amy enjoys participating in a variety of outdoor activities, especially hiking with her dog, Bixley.

 

 

 

Christine

Medical Assistant

A certified Medical Assistant, Christine assists Dr. David with pre and post op visits, and helps prepare our patients for surgery. She enjoys the excitement of making positive changes in patients' lives. Christine's friendliness and warmth help our patients feel right at home when they come to visit and we are proud to have her as part of our team.

 

 

Courtney

Medical Esthetician

A licensed esthetician with years of experience in the high end spa industry, Courtney is highly skilled in a variety of facials, skin peels, and medical-grade microdermabrasion.  She has received specialized training on all of the advanced lines of skin care products and home care regimens supported by our office. Courtney works alongside Dr. David with all our Active FX and Total FX clients to help them not only achieve amazing skin results- but also maintain these results. You will meet with Courtney for a complimentary hydrating facial following your procedure.

 

 

Angela M.

Surgical Technician

Angela assists Dr. David in the operating room during your procedure and occasionally follow-up visits.  She enjoys being part of the surgical team that helps you achieve your goals.  Outside of work you may see her at the stadium for Chargers games and she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boxers.

 

 

 

Tonia

Aesthetic Registered Nurse

Tonia is an experienced laser Aesthetic Nurse who really enjoys consulting with patients and helping them achieve their maximal results. Prior to working in Aesthetics, Tonia worked for Scripps Memorial Hospital in acute care. In her free time Tonia enjoys being with her husband of seven-years, two young children, and their golden retrievers. Besides laser skin care, Tonia is a skilled nurse injector for Botox and Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, and Radiesse.  Tonia also performs vein therapy with our 1064 laser and sclerotherapy.

 

 

 

Diana

Physician Assistant

A UCSD alum and proud mother of 3, Diana obtained her PA degree from USC in 2003. She spent several years working in Urgent Care and Family Practice before focusing on aesthetics. Diana is highly knowledgeable in cosmetic fillers, botox and dysport, as well advanced skin resurfacing offered by our office. Diana also performs laser vein treatements and sclerotherapy. She enjoys achieving dramatic results for her clients and guiding them to the best possible treatment plan.
